Background
For this project, I created a new logo and motion graphics system for the music festival Sónar. The identity is inspired by a sonar scan, representing both sound waves and the rising and setting of the sun to highlight the festival’s three components: Day, Night, and +D (innovation and networking). A color system distinguishes each part of the event, with warm tones for daytime programming, cool tones for nighttime performances, and blended colors for the business and technology focused +D events. The final deliverables include animated posters for each event, an Instagram advertisement, a promotional video, and looping stage visuals, all unified by wave-like motion and sonar-inspired graphics.
